JUST A GLIMPSE

Those moments of anticipation before the doorbell rings. And the evening was beautiful---one of the best parties we've ever had---lots of talk and laughter and just good friends together.

Moire non, when I can sort two thoughts together---must rest now.

  1. As a lovely little 3 year old once said.... "I had a lovely party!"

It was everything I thought it would be and more.
Most importantly, I could not have pulled even half of this off without you!

I thank you and love you more than I can say.

  2. Thank you, my Sweetpea!

I had a lovely party, too---right now it all seems wrapped in a little rosy-golden glow of all the lights and fun. And what are we going to do with all these COOKIES!!?? I've never seen so many in one place as last night.

    Thank YOU---and love and,

  3. I love what you two have - the relationship, the closeness and the appreciation. Bless you both.

  4. Thank you, Rachel, for making each and every one of us part of your family, no matter how long we have "known" you.

And I'll send my address so I can help dispose of some of those extra cookies!

  5. Your sweet comment about Ethel brightened a gray day. Her family reads these and is filled with hope, love, and gratitude. Thanks for taking the time to write.

And now us...why do you think we have such a connection with writers? and in our case, with the great northeast? I became fascinated by it when a child. Now I live the dream half of every year on the sea. One of the best things about life there was Ethel.

I have a drawer full of letters, poems, and stories, which I'll treasure forever.

    Thanks a world,

  6. Your dining room looks lovely and cozy and warm:>) I always drive myself crazy before a party witht he cooking and cleaning, but I love after the party when the dishes are all cleaned up and the house is still spotless from all the crazy cleaning and I can think back on a beautiful event. Time to put your feet up now and relax:>)
