Another small look at Caro's lovely confections---Orange/Chocolate Truffles dusted in cocoa and Peanut Butter Cream Buckeyes.
I'm working on getting as much ready to post as I can manage---still trying to get order back into this story of the house, and there are STILL party things needing to be washed and put away.
Another day should do it, I hope; we lunched on party leftovers and had a simple supper of homemade Broccoli/Cheese soup and Cornbread. (With a few nibbles from the Sweet Trays, of course).
I hope everyone is well and warm and feeling the Spirit of the Season.
Moire non,
Love the candy! Have fun! Wish I had some soup and cornbread, it is cold here tonight!
ReplyDeleteIt's cold here in Vicksburg this Tuesday morning, too -- a low of 24!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy "winding down" from your party and savoring the memories.
You would be missing candy if my mother were there. She is a chocolate eating woman.
ReplyDeleteSoup and cornbread sound perfect for these cold days.
Good morning dear Rachel. I too am worn out from our quick trip to Florida. The shower was so lovely and I am so happy we could attend. We love our Maddi very much. My grandson picked the sweetest girl to spend his life with.
ReplyDeleteI loved reading your posts I missed. I wish I could have been to your awesome cookie party. I know it was warm, loving and fun.
I have been primping and decorating around the house getting ready for another big gathering of friends this Sat. night. around 30 guests for a pot luck supper. Love doing this!!!
Happy days to you and your brood.
Warm hugs, Jeanne
Darling Rachel -- Rest from your labors, my Dear. What a party it must have been!
