BRAMBLEBERRY SYMPHONY

I just happened upon a blog through another that I read every day---the new one is called Brambleberry Cottage. The second post really caught my eye, with pictures of flowers so beautiful, and text so charming and well written, that I thought I'd share it here today, on this going-to-feel-like-Summer day when our gardens are setting their feet into the ready soil, and the hedges and trees and all the overgrowth and undergrowth are flourishing into a constant green.

And so, while I ready a raft of pictures I took yesterday out and around the garden and lawn, do go immerse yourself in this lovely floral symphony. It's music to the mind and eyes.

I'm headed out, First Cup in hand, to enjoy the sunrise.

Thank you so much for visiting the Brambleberry Cottage and for your sweet words about my post.

I really do enjoy sharing with others the loveliness that "springs" up all around my little farm. It brings me such delight.

Please do visit again.

Rachel, thank you so much for sharing Liz's beautiful Brambleberry Cottage with us. It is now on my list of "Favorite Places to Visit," and I look forward to exploring it and getting to know her better through her stories and beautiful pictures.

I'm also looking forward to seeing your pictures of your garden. Hope your sunrise was as beautiful as Marty's pictures today!

How lovely to hear from you, Liz!! I so enjoyed the few posts I read before the sunrise beckoned me out.

And welcome to our little group---thank you for joining in!

Janie---my first thought was to e-mail you the link, for her words and pictures are certainly something you'd enjoy. I got all the way to your address, then I thought I'd just post it for everyone. I'm so glad we've discovered such a lovely new place to visit.

Yesterday I noticed the first hydrangea blooms in our yard. Those were the flowers I carried on our wedding last year at about this time. They seem so summery to me, and remind me of grandmothers' porches and side yards.
