BLESSINGS AND TEARS

These bright, cheery flowers greeted Chris when he went for his Doctor visit yesterday. They were presented with Congratulations on FIVE YEARS Cancer-Free. That was a cherished goal, and the uplifting of many, many prayers.

Our family has recently suffered a great tragedy and loss, and so we will try to concentrate on the Good Things as we grieve---the sweet memories and the times of joy, and we know that we have been Truly Blessed.

Hi, my friend....I've missed talking to you. I am so thankful for your good news about Chris. What worries that must alleviate! And, I can hear in your voice that you are hurting deeply in your loss. I am so sorry. Rejoicing and Grieving all at the same time...2 totally different emotions that take so much out of you. How wonderful to know that God offers us so much to be thankful for in the midst of tragedy. It sure helps me to keep going sometimes. God bless you, my friend. May your heart be filled with JOY and with PEACE.

Congratulations to Chris - and to all who love and care for him. I well know the joy of that five year celebration.

It is good God gives us these wonderful moments because they do help us to stay focused and balanced. I will be holding you close in my heart and prayers.

Five years clean- Chris deserves those happy words! I am almost 5 years into my own journey- living WITH cancer- it is an uplifting thought to realize that we've been gifted this much bonus time with our loved ones here.
I'm sorry to learn that this good news is tempered with loss for your family- you are always in my heart, dear Rachel.
