Taking
a break to get ready for a little Kitchen-Viewing party this weekend.
This
is literally the first time our house will be “company-ready” since MARCH, when
we started pulling things out of cabinets for the Kitchen Demolition.
I
signed on to post, and saw a “draft” titled “TRIFLE.” Hadn’t planned on having one for the party,
but don’t it look FINE??
I've never had trifle but it looks yummy! Everything sounds wonderful. It is definitely not your fault if anyone goes away hungry!
ReplyDeleteThat looks really delicious. I know everyone will enjoy it and be impressed with the house party.
ReplyDeleteWell if you are having coconut cake please add me to the guest list! I will bring mermaid punch!!!
ReplyDeleteGo for the Trifle! Looks yummy! So many delicious ways to make them!
ReplyDeleteMy dear Rachel,
ReplyDeleteA big HELLO! Thank you so much for your delightful message. Your kindness and friendship mean a lot to me. It is most charming to see that you are still here, writing away your beautiful recollections and a day in the life at Lawn Tea which are absolutely a treat! I hope all your baking for your Pink Kitchen Viewing party this weekend is going well. I have been catching up with your blog posts and it is such a co-incidence that you were also doing a different type of renovation work about the same time as I was putting on a new roof and cementing and repairing all the stone works outside my house. I'm loving the pink colour of your new kitchen. Now, my dear, coconut cake sounds utterly delicious. It's one of my favourite cakes. Have a good weekend. Yours ever, ASD x
I love trifles. They are so easy to make and so delicious to eat.
