HAPPY
BIRTHDAY, PINK SATURDAY!!
We’ve
matured together like fine wine, ripened like sun-kissed grapes, rounded like
the most luscious fruit, become mellower and sweeter and more intriguing. We’ve grown in knowledge and character, in depth
of quietude and serenity within ourselves.
Seven
years---that's three-hundred and sixty-five Saturdays, one for each day in the year---imagine posting and coordinating a group and keeping up with all the attendant links and colours and people involved---pink chapeaux doff to Beverly, our inestimable Hostess, for bringing together such a wonderful, far-reaching group of people, whose interests and lives we've shared, and more than a few who have become fast friends.
Seven years is also the prescribed frame for miracles, for growth, for apprenticeship and learning and service, for the completion of things, the storing-up, and the rounding of the times to new eras. We’ve seen this turning of the seasons, and we’re still here, still together, still liking each other, still keeping in touch.

And
I SWEAR we haven’t AGED A BIT!
I love this! I can't believe it has been 7 years. I have been doing it for 5 now and Pink Saturday has been for almost all five - when I have something pink, not purple - haha!!
ReplyDeleteI am in awe that Pink Saturday has lasted for SEVEN years! Great job ladies!!
ReplyDeleteI just got involved with Pink Saturday. Don't know where I've been for the past 7 years!! But, it's great fun. I hope to stick around quite awhile.
ReplyDeleteHello Rachel, We are in FL for two of our grandson's HS graduations. One down and one to go. These cousins are both 18 and are the best friends anyone could have. Both applied for the University of Florida where two of their siblings presently attend and both were accepted. Oh happy day. They are third generation Gators. Anyway, I have not had time to visit until now. We leave for Jacksonville in the morning for the second graduation. Our two daughters live 2 1/2 hours apart. (Orlando) Then a big party for both boys this coming Saturday in JAX.Fun times.
ReplyDeleteYour darling artwork (Sweetpea's I bet) and the lovely comment for Beverly's 7th Pink Saturday birthday is so perfect. And...all true for all of the pinkies we have met through this fun Blog party. Wonderful friendships...You and many more have been the bonus through the color PINK. Big smile here.
If you tried to comment on my post, I must tell you there was a problem on my site that has been corrected. Sigh!
Have a wonderful week dear friend. I am scrolling down on your blog to see if there is progress on your kitchen that I may have missed.
Love you much,
Jeanne
