You come across the most magnificent things, just browsing with a quiet cup in the morning.
I cannot tell you the BEAUTIFUL of this, and I hope you'll go take a look. My mouth is still in a little 0 of surprise.
The wing-spread photo is like a magnificent silken tapestry made thousands of years ago, or a great royal lion robe of state. And this has been hidden from all of us all our lives.
I fed one grapes from my palm once, and never knew. Do go see---Miss Patsy finds the most wonderful things.
Another blogging friend of mine shared these photos just the other day. Aren't they incredible? I'd never seen a peacock in flight before--they are absolutely stunning! :)
ReplyDeleteI do think you for the kind words. When I was a child in Memphis Tn I went to school across the street from the zoo and lived not far a way . we could hear the Peacocks call and they could only fly a short flight to trees. At night we could hear the lions roar. As you know we slept with the windows open, never this day and time.
ReplyDeleteHello Rachel:
ReplyDeleteYes, these photographs of the Peacock in flight are truly remarkable! The colours and the intricacy of the design of the feathers is a wonder of Nature, of which, of course, there are so many!
Thank you for sharing. Absolutely breathtaking!
ReplyDeleteThe epitome of gracefulness ...
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing it. I've never seen a peacock in flight.
Wow, thanks for sharing this-who knew? I really did not know they could fly to high as it seems in those photos. But maybe the ones I have seen have their wings clipped.
ReplyDeleteAmazing. How did I live this long not knowing that something that lovely existed!
ReplyDeleteEach detail fashioned by a Creator who loves the 'details'...for there in lies the beauty!
