FALLING

I think I may have missed saying HAPPY OCTOBER!  this time.    I hope you all crisp-apple days, with leaves for looking and foot-swishing, lots of beautiful Fall goodies at your farmstands, some cool nights for hometown football, weenie-roasts and getting out the sweaters, and lovely, sunny days for just getting out and enjoying.

It's FALL, Y'all!!

  1. Yea it's fall! The wind was strong today. I went out on my bicycle but had to walk for fear I would be blown off the bike. It's dark at 7 pm. and I have the central heating on.
Thanks for your lovely comment about the friend who made tiny books and the invitations for your wedding. How nice that we met before! I cannot remember when exactly, but it must have been some time ago.

  3. Open windows at night. Plans to make some Brunswick stew soon. The sounds of Friday night football echoing across the streets. MMMM - Fall!

  4. We are going to be decorating for Halloween this weekend. I just brought home from storage the steamer-trunk sized boxes of plastic pumpkins, glass tabletop ghosts, and various candy bowls for the affair. More bags of treats than Kim realizes are stashed away in my closet for the kids. And the first few Christmas presents have been picked up when spied on sale. Fall is much more of an "anticipation" season for me than springtime - I love it!
