ANNIVERSARY

Twenty-five years ago today, Chris and I met. The story of our meeting has been told and re-told amongst the family, and we all marvel at the convolution of circumstance which, in some form, brought us all to where we are today. I'm headed upstairs with Sweetpea for her nap, and instead of reading a book today, we'll snuggle on her bed, as I tell her for the first time of how her grandparents first MET.

  4. Thank you alllll!! We'll be celebrating that BIG anniversary this Summer, and Caro and spent hours this morning, up in her sunny sitting room, with a lovely coffeecake she'd just made, planning tablecloths and tables and platters and champagne. A Lawn Tea, of course.

  5. Hi Rachel, Your hearts of sweet candy look like I want some. Smile. I am happy to congratulate you and Chris on finding each other. Your life together for 25 years is surely a blessing. A Lawn tea is a perfect way to celebrate such a fine union.

I must say after that snow storm you had you will have to wait for some fine weather to celebrate. Your 'cabined in' story was very entertaining and very dreary looking. I know what it is like to be snowed in. However, it was just the two of us.
    You are a trouper.

    Stay warm all of you.
    Warm hugs, Jeanne
