THE MYSTIC

My friend Val loves the serendipity of finding hearts, and she does---in clouds, in a salad, in a crumpled paper from a straw. She claims them as luck or fortune or just as her special talisman in life.

I just had a hankering this morning for some Van Morrison, and let the music just fill the house, as I went about my little doings on this superlative Cusp of Autumn day.

Go fill your eyes with HEARTS, and your heart with the MYSTIC.

That was a good song Rachel. I used to collect hearts too.

Tell you dear friend Val to get herself to a beach soon. She'll delight in finding the nicest heart-shaped pebbles imaginable to add to her heart stash.

I was just thinking of you; wondering how you were; when you popped in on my blog again. I was so happy to hear from you! I've missed chatting with you. I think of you often, as I search for different treasures at thrift stores and such that remind me of some of your posts. :) My days are busy, but I still try to get around the blog world from time to time.

Some yummy hearts too. :) I have never heard that about finding heart shapes...now I will be looking all the time. I always reach to butterflies to just touch me. So far very few have. Blessings, xoxo, Susie

thanks so much Rachel for the help identifying the pretty flowers! I have NEVER had nor seen those before, so was so curious what they were! Do you grow those?

Dearest Rachel, I love the way your friend Val thinks. Your photo is very full of the kind of hearts that make me very happy. Yum. Also, when I want to raise my spirit, get the music going and even my energy soars.
Love, Jeanne

I'm always in the mood for a little Van Morrison. Great sound, great accompanying shots, and soothing vibe.

I have a friend that finds hearts in so many things. I think it takes a very special person with a unique sense of their environment.
