HI, Y'ALL!!

Can somebody tell me if there's a magical signpost somewhere in Blogworld which is pointing this way? The traffic on my counter is going like mad today, quite unusual for our slow-talkin' little spot. Once before, one of the food sites I belong to had selected this as one of the five "sites of the day" and we had all kinds of visitors I hadn't met yet.

It's lovely to have so many folks dropping in---I DO love company. I just wish I knew what link you're following, or how you found us.

Anyway, WELCOME, Y'all!!!

I hope you'll stay a while and make yourselves comfortable. And please come back soon.

  1. Hi Rachel....I found you through the Foodie Blogroll Badges. You were listed as one of the top 5 random blogs of the day! Pretty cool!! The only time I was on that badge was when I first joined up and was one of the top 5 recent blogs. I hope I'm a random blog at some point. Neat!!

So I'm off to check out your blog....I love drinking hot tea and will be sipping my chai tea while hanging out here for a bit.

  2. Ditto - I'm sitting here clicking on all the titles on the Foodie Blogroll, just relaxing after a hard day's work. And yes, that sound you hear is my husband laughing at what I just typed!!!

  3. Well, Hello you TWO!!

It's delightful to have unexpected visitors---and thank you for letting me know why you happened in. This is the SECOND time I've been in that little link-space for FB---even though once when I re-arranged my headers, I could NOT get that little widget thing to re-appear at the top of the right side. They're very gracious to include me again.

This is sometimes food and sometimes reminiscences of my Southern childhood, sometimes Indiana stuff (where we've lived for twenty years) and ALWAYS Southern.

Dyed in the Cotton, that's me.

  5. Lovely, Lynn!!

I'd already written Argyll and Bute in my journal. I love re-reading all the charming names of places which pass by on my board.

    Please do come back.

  7. Rachel, feedjit will show you where people are visiting from, but it is a bit intrusive on the bottom of the page- I haven't found another way to see the history of visitors yet, myself.
