SIS IS HERE!

Sis is here for a few days, arrived safely from her long FLIGHT, and we’re cooking in that new PINK KITCHEN, talking our heads off, keeping the iced tea flowing, and enjoying these 80-degree days, with FIFTIES at night.   Nothing like catching up on things with someone you’ve known since the day she was born---THAT’s a good friend.

Moire non, Y’all!

  1. Girl...you are just a scream! Truly! Loved reading your comment about Miss Simplicity Butterick (I'll keep that name!) aka: Miss Autumn. You comment made me smile big and wide and even giggle. You are such a dear.

So glad your sissy is visiting and you are cooking up a storm in your new kitchen. We leave early next week for TN and of course will be hauling our new island-to-be home with us. Very exciting. I'll keep you posted on the outcome.

Now...I'm going to backtrack a bit and see what all I've been missing while I've been face-deep in kitchen makeover stuff!

    Hugs~Rebecca

  4. Enjoy your special time together. I'm sure you'll have many hours of catching up (and cooking) to do. Sisters are the best!

  5. We had our first sister's trip this year and it was amazing. Have so much fun! I have been working on life stories of my parents and my own so we had fun reminiscing. It was amazing - we don't remember things exactly the same!

  6. My dear friend, I just know you had a rollicking good time with your sister. I am so happy for you. Laughter is the best medicine ever. We too have had lots of that this summer.

I think I told you my sister Carmen is moving into our cabin. I am so thrilled. She will be close by when she needs me. She is having serious kidney problems and I will be close by. We too have always had a very close sister love. I think this summer my wonderful family and friends had to come to the realization that the cabin will no longer be available. Thus "lots" of visitors.

I still want to see pics of your new kitchen. Hurry Rachel, do a post. Smile.

We are having similar weather. Fall is getting closer every day. Nice.

    Love and happy kitchen wishes,
    Jeanne
