Are YOU SERIOUS!!??? I had no idea!!---this is great and happy news! I am so happy for y'all! Congratulations and hugs, my friend!! I've been behind...just now catching up with your comments and posts. Mercy girlfriend you outdid yourownself with that previous story about your aunt, I JUST LOVED IT. I swear we have to be relations of some sort or something, ha ha LOL! Your people are so like my people, LOL The descriptions of the furniture--how it was arranged in the rooms, the co-colas in the little glass bottles, mercy, how I loved those!--and Dr. Pepper ones too! the "kitchen" baths, the fluffy cashmere bouquet dusting powder with the big soft puff, the big old "stoves" that we heated with in the winters--and then took the stove out come springtime,(I think you said wood, we used coal, black messy coal but it sure kept us warm) ladies who wore "stockings", and the awful heat of the summer in hot houses with no air conditioning back then. Anyway, love the story and it surely did take me back in time---you should be writing books. I'll be first in line to buy them!
Rachel, Congrats on the ne baby girl. Hope you get to see her soon. I just love all my grands and now three great grands. I went to your previous post...Oh I loved the story of your Aunts. Can you even imagine a child travelling alone. Times are not the same. Blessings to you and yours for a safe and happy 4th. xoxo,Susie
